Dear Friend,
I want to tell you about the groundbreaking campaign (that follows an ingenious study) towards improving women’s understanding of beauty. Its no surprise that girls everywhere want to be thinner, taller, blonder, bustier. The surprise is a big corporation who says they want to help change that. The Dove Self-Esteem Fund intends to help girls to overcome life-damaging hang-ups by putting beauty into perspective. Please check out my young friend’s commercial! It's good to see. Even the song is cool! The message is admirable, and all the girls in it are just real young people who were asked to be themselves and share their thoughts and concerns.ellie is the first girl who acts happy, the blued eyed blond who puts her arm up in the air triumphantly, as one of three, and then i think she shows up again at the end when she tucks some hair behind her ear and the caption reads ...(and tell her) SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!check it out: http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.ca/flat2.asp?id=1606

Dear Campaign For Real Beauty
Thank you for the difference you are trying to make in the world.I am writing to you in celebration a real world champion, a woman who embodies the notion “be yourself, be beautiful” for me and for countless women of varying ages. Talk about confidence and spark. Talk about boosting self esteem! Sarah Hunter leads by example. Her brave and joyous life includes creation of powerful art, raising three children, inspirational and practical romantic love, devotion to her family, and an international network of friends and colleagues. She is intelligent, articulate, talented, fun, charismatic, and never abandons her focus on true human kindness, while also keeping an eye on larger political issues and social justice.Sarah Hunter was a part of the team that launched the ground breaking Spiral Garden, programs which bring children with and without special needs together in an outdoor setting to cultivate plants and participate in a wide range of activities involving art, music, storytelling and drama -- a sanctuary of imagination, creativity and healing. To this day she provides leadership in environmental art projects and volunteers for in class initiatives for Toronto Schools.Sarah Hunter adjusts the world itself through her own artistic expression. Her work ranges from ink and paper to acrylic paintings to collage to 3d metal sculpture with subject matter almost as diverse as mediums. She is a multi-instrumentalist with a lovely singing voice, and she has been an inspiration to me personally, in finding my own voice. And then allowing me to participate musically with her leadership and encouragement within a talented, skillful musical family.Sarah Hunter teaches that a person’s worth is not tied up with their material stature any more than beauty has to do with a person’s external appearance, size, shape or age; she is a wonderful example that true beauty resonates in the hearts and minds of those who encounter it.So, I encourage the Campaign for Real Beauty, to take a look at Sarah Hunter.
